Not what you might expect but gorgeous
From the bottle you might expect a rather slight, modern thing with a watery quality. It does have initial elements of that but quicklly becomes a full blown and very beautiful floral . The drydown is the best bit as the day goes on as it is all sandalwood and keeps getting better and better. I think of this as a summer perfume as it does have a little citrus freshness to it but all those woods are perfect for cooler weather too.

For those who like being different and not the same
The blue and the white of the bottle has been misleading for so many who took it as a promise of watery or ozonic summer fragrance. To me the colours of Oxygene tell a different story - about winter white plains of snow and a frosty blue sky, and something else, something what warms me up without destroying the winter freshness. It's too heavy for summer, but remains my favourite for winter days, so different from typical winter fragrances, so unique a combination of spicy warmth and frosty freshness
I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 because of the misleading summer advertising
