Are your products genuine?
All of our products are 100 percent genuine and fully packaged, as you would find them in the high street.
How do I pay?
You can pay online or by phone using your debit or credit card. Please do not send cash or cheques to us.
What about VAT/sales taxes?
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT/sales taxes where applicable. If you incur sales taxes please retain proof of payment and contact us within 30 days of receipt, quoting your order number, to arrange for a refund.
Will I be liable for customs duties?
Whilst Guernsey is not part of the European Union it is part of the Customs Territory of the European Community and therefore orders dispatched to countries with the EU are not liable for customs duties. Customs duties if incorrectly charged will not be reimbursed.
What about P&P?
There is a £0.95 delivery charge per item (£1.95 for Gift Sets) to the UK and a £0.65 charge per item (£1.65 for Gift Sets) to the Channel Islands. To calculate postal costs for orders to other destinations please click here. Please note that UK orders of two or more items may be dispatched separately.
What about Special Recorded Delivery?
Prices are calculated by weight and will be clearly stated when you reach the checkout page. We have included a postage charge lookup table below to use as a guide. Orders placed by 11.00 Monday to Thursday will be delivered before 1300 the next day. Orders placed by 11.00 on Friday will be delivered by 13.00 on Saturday or Monday, Order placed after this time will not be dispatched until Monday for arrival on Tuesday. Please note that a signature is required on receipt. All prices are inclusive of VAT which we prepay to Customs and Excise as the goods enter the UK.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are normally dispatched by first class mail within one working day of the order date. Please allow up to eight working days for delivery to the UK, fourteen for orders within Europe and twenty for orders throughout the rest of the world.
What is your returns policy?
All products purchased through this website are covered by our 30 day no quibble guarantee. If you are not totally satisfied with your order or have simply changed your mind, please return the unopened product to us within 30 days of your order date and we will refund your money in full. Please include a brief letter including your name and address and an explanation as to why you are returning the item(s).
Do you ever run out of popular product lines?
Occasionally yes. In the unlikely event that an item is not in stock we will contact you within 72 hours of the receipt of your order to advise you when the item will be available and provide the option to cancel the order, or to select another item. If you would like to be emailed when a particular product comes back into stock please email info@cheapsmells.com with the product details.
What do I do if I have not received my order?
If you have not received your order after 8 working days since dispatch (14 days for Europe or 21 days for International deliveries) please initially check with your post office to ensure that they do not have the parcel, and then if they do not have it please contact us via info@cheapsmells.com and we will take further action.
