Are your products genuine?
All of our products are 100 percent genuine and fully packaged, and as you would find them in the high street.

How do I pay?
You can pay either online or over the phone. We accept payment in GBP (£) and Euro (€).

For payments made in GBP we accept; Visa, Delta, Maestro, Switch and Visa Electron, MasterCard. For payments made in Euro we accept; Visa, Visa Electron, JCB and MasterCard. We also accept payment through PayPal.

We do not hold any credit card details, all payments are through RBS WorldPay which is a secure site.

Please do not send cash or cheques to us.

What about VAT/sales taxes and duties?
Orders delivered outside the UK maybe subject to import and/or sales taxes. We cannot pay these duties for you and your order may be subject to delay. We prepay VAT on all orders sent to a UK delivery address.

Please note that whilst Guernsey is not part of the European Union it is part of the Customs Territory of the European Community and therefore orders dispatched to countries within the EU are not liable for customs duties. Where Customs duties have been paid on imports into the European Union (EU), based on the customs value of the goods this incorrect charge will not be reimbursed.

What about P&P?
There is a £0.95 delivery charge per item (£1.95 for Gift Sets) to the UK and a £0.65 charge per item (£1.65 for Gift Sets) to the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Please note for customers paying in Euros this value may change depending on the daily exchange rate. UK orders of two or more items may be dispatched separately. For all other destinations the delivery charge for posting depends on which delivery method you choose at checkout and are calculated on weight.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are normally dispatched by first class mail within 1 working day of the order date. Please allow up to 8 working days for delivery to the UK, 14 for orders within Western Europe and 20 for orders throughout the rest of the world.

What about Special Recorded Delivery?
Prices are calculated by weight and will be clearly stated when you reach the checkout page. We have included a postage charge lookup table below to use as a guide for UK orders. Orders placed by 11am Monday to Thursday will be delivered before 1pm the next day. Orders placed by 11am on Friday will be delivered by 1pm on Saturday or Monday, Order placed after this time will not be dispatched until Monday for arrival on Tuesday. Please note that a signature is required on receipt.

What is your returns policy?
All products purchased through this website are covered by our 30 day no quibble guarantee. If you are not totally satisfied with your order or have simply changed your mind, please return the unopened product to us within 30 days of your order date and we will refund you for the product. Please include a brief letter including your name and address and an explanation as to why you are returning the item(s). Please note we do not refund your postage.

Do you ever run out of popular product lines?
Occasionally yes. In the unlikely event that an item is not in stock we will contact you within 72 hours of the receipt of your order to advise you when the item will be available and provide the option to cancel the order, or to select another item. If you would like to be emailed when a particular product comes back into stock please contact us with the product details.

What do I do if I have not received my order?
If you have not received your order after 8 working days since dispatch (14 days for Western Europe or 20 days for Rest of the World) please initially check with your post office to ensure that they do not have the parcel, and then if they do not have it please contact us and we will take further action.

Do you do wholesale?
CheapSmells.com is an online retailer which is set up to sell directly to Customers and is not a wholesaler.

We do not sell large quantities of individual items. Consideration can be given to wholesale if you are a trader, or potential operating partner, who will purchase across the range i.e. small quantities of many products not large quantities per item. Please contact us for further contact information.

How can I get information on special offers and voucher codes?
You can be kept up to date with our special offers and any voucher codes that we may be running by opting into receiving our e-newsletter and emails. You can do this by logging into your account page and selecting Contact Details & Billing Address under My Details. At the bottom of your details is an option to be included in our special deals.

Do I have to register to make an order?
As an internet company, we do request that you register with us and place your orders online. However, we appreciate not all of our customers have email addresses set up (Required for registration), and as such we do facilitate telephone orders up to the value of £50.00. Please contact us for further information.

How do I change my password?
To change your password, simply login to your account, select Login Details under My Details and type in your new password as directed.

How do I know your website is secure?
Security is extremely important to us, our Website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Certain areas of our site use industry standard SSL to encrypt sensitive data, such as your billing address details. We record IP address of persons submitting orders to aid fraud prevention and will disclose any information necessary to fully co-operate with law enforcement authorities in investigating suspected lawbreakers.

For your added security all payment pages are hosted and processed by RBS WorldPay which means that we don't hold records of your credit card details.

Can you take me off your mailing list?
If you no longer wish to be kept up to date with our special offers and any voucher codes, you can remove yourself from our mailing lists by logging into your account page and selecting Contact Details & Billing Address under My Details. At the bottom of your details is an option for you to be included or excluded from any correspondence.
